Artwork title : Cash or Card?

"Cash or Card?" is one of the photos from my Normal Life series, a collection of photographs documenting the daily lives of ordinary people in the UK. This particular image captures a scene from a small market outside a funfair. The title refers to a common question asked when making a payment at markets. In this case, the booth owner has humorously graffitied the question onto a box, giving it a personal, almost bespoke quality. The photo captures the repetition of this everyday phrase in a business context, adding a touch of humour to the mundane.
