Painting Dubai 11:52 AM belongs to the series Heavenscrapers that depicts the facades of skyscrapers as the monotonous walls, endless rows of windows, where there are no people visible, only an organized system.

Paintings from this series are a result of reflections on the role of work in human life. The glass walls of the office buildings reflect the sky, enclose it in an architectural frame, systematize and create divisions that do not exist in the natural space.

I am interested in the relationship between people and the system in which they function. What is limiting in the imposed structures, but also what is appealing in them.

I find visual symbols of the power of capitalism in the architecture of skyscrapers and link them to the symbolism of building upwards present in Western culture.
