Artwork title : Can’t let go
This 30x40 acrylic piece is inspired by the 2010 Gucci Guilty campaign, featuring Rachel Woods and Chris Evans. This ad features a man riding into a midwestern town on his motorcycle, only to have a brief love affair before leaving the town at dusk. Like Bridgette Yvette’s other works, the abstract style depicts the all encompassing “blending” feeling of being in love, when the world around you all blends together when you become completely consumed with another person. This piece in particular communicates a sort of need instead of a want, and a desire to hold on to the love as tightly as possible, even though it faces an inevitable expiration date.
