Artwork title : Isadora
Isadora, named after Kenneth MacMillan’s play, draws its emotional force from the life and legacy of Isadora Duncan, the revolutionary dancer whose freedom, tragedy, and unyielding devotion to expression reshaped the language of movement. At its centre sits a small bronze figure, seemingly modest, yet alive with potential. When illuminated, the sculpture blossoms into something far larger: two sweeping shadow-dancers unfurl across the wall, echoing the liberation and abandon that defined Isadora’s artistry.
The piece comes complete with a British Ewe base with lights included, as shown in the image, allowing the interplay of light and shadow to bring the artwork to life.
