Description: "Restore the scenery" takes the broken blue and white porcelain plate as the core, presenting a state between restoration and disintegration through visible thread seams and drooping yarns. The fragments were reconnected by hand sewing, but the stitches were not completely bound together. Instead, they were left to extend downward, like unfinished repairs or the traces of time dripping from the picture.
The blue and white landscape is reorganised amid fragmentation, preserving the past narrative while revealing the gaps after the break. The work explores the fragility and continuity of memory, restoration, and emotional mending - what is mended does not necessarily return to its original state. And those drooping lines, like emotions pulled by the wind, are still extending outward.
