Freeman's image, Scott, male nude model, is an early photograph in a years-long series of images taken of the same young male model.  From this model, the artist captured various photographs and worked on at least one sculpture, recording the various transformations the model endured during their few years of working together.  Various levels of physical fitness, ever-changing hairstyles and the model's growing number of tattoos are documented along the journey.  Ultimately, the model's decision to mar an otherwise beautiful body with random tattoos, some of them offensive, led to the demise in the relationship between artist and model.  Yet the series reflects a level of comfort and trust that grew between artist and model.
