What does a city consists of? Urban spaces such as streets, different buildings… Some of them are decayed, some are minimalist and new. Some are historical - with sculptures, pillars and can be considered as a national heritage. While some of them are just common multi-dwelling projects without any uniqueness. They form the real face of the city only by coming together.

Their beauty lies in unique neighbouring - mixture of various styles. Synergy between past and future makes their union diverse and unique. All these buildings have more common than it might look - they are all aimed for the skies.

“It’s my vision of streets of my beloved city Riga”, - comments Anna. “Abstract urbanism with full respect to the heritage and traditions with no borders and distances.” The artwork showcases a new form of northern Europe heritage made in Japanese patchwork Kinusaiga art technique. The artwork is made from hundreds of fabric pieces. All fabrics as discarded wastes were collected for reuse to reduce recycle and to rebirth as the artwork.
