For this picture, I used specail ink and pigments for Chinese traditional painting and water to apply colors to the painting. And personally, I want to carry on traditional techniques and thinking. With the coronavirus, there's no way people can go back to the good old days. So I like to imagine there is a place hiding in the mountains with no internet and crowds, where people cna just live only on things necessary for survival, and actually enjoy the simple life. The color red is the opposite of black, which creates contrast in the paining. Moreover, the red blooms show people that there is hope out in the world if we try to seek it because red represents hearts, and blooming shows the beauty of life.
