My Painting shows a couple which seems happy at first sight. But the rose colored glasses held by the men and the dripping blood proves the opposite. I used this metaphor to show the pain that can come into being because you believe you feel love but you are actually trapped in your mind and treated badly by another person who claims to be a loving person. Since I'd like to speak up for women I chose a Women and a Men to describe that dilemma. Of course this can vary. I would like to point out that this Painting is not about genders but the dark side of having the rose colored glasses on.
