“Home is where the heart is. And, in this global pandemic, many hearts around the world have been seperated from people and places they call “home.” My girlfriend and I have been thousands of miles apart since the spread of the coronavirus. But, despite this dark time, we, like many, have kept our hearts focused on the blessings that will come once this pandemic ends. This portrait of my girlfriend, entitled “Home”, is drawn by memory and with hope. It depicts the unconditional support and light that she continues to shine upon me, even in the current darkness."
