Artwork title : On the Brink of War

Oil on canvas, 30.5 cm x 40.6 cm

I made this painting at the start of the war in Gaza, having just read a personal account from a onetime colleague now living in the area. With the help of copious amounts of linseed oil, I fused my experience of the model, twitching in an uncomfortable position, with my horror at the state of the world.
