Exodus reflects the theme of migration in a parallelism between the natural environment and human beings. Fleeing from a reality that is sometimes unjust and cruel, Trees like Men leave their land, their origins, in search of a promised land, carrying with them emotions and memories, or perhaps the last glimmers of a life past in the hope of a more just and dignified future.
