Artwork title : In the age of Aquarius II

"In the age of Aquarius" The handwoven miniature is a result of combining various techniques and materials some of which are not closely related to fabric and fiber. The work is a materialization of the artist’s dreams about aquatic life and the coral reef. It is a vestige of virtual journeys to unexplored underwater regions of the seas and oceans. It is the first in a series of miniatures exploring the theme which aims to translate not only the awe inspiring diversity of organic structures, textures, shapes and forms but also the fragility and temporal nature of life itself.
