The installation deals with the divergence of coding and random kinetics. The tension between the controllable and the uncontrollable is explored interactively by the visitor. In the process, one steps into the foreground oneself and becomes the plaything of the conversation. Who manages to take a stand in the process?

 

The art object is a kinetic installation with 7 hairdryers and a balloon with a newspaper article, which are controlled by a microcontroller (Arduino). A motion sensor is attached to the table leg, which triggers the installation and/or intensifies the air strength of the hairdryers as soon as a visitor approaches them.

 

Note: The kinetic sculpture can be set up and demonstrated on site. However, if there is no space available, only the film of the installation could be screened.
