The 10th series' artwork explores the indifference to misery, hunger of the most vulnerable, who even suffering use their hollow shields, placed there by the powerful. Meanwhile, the fat and lazy state continually wastes fundamental resources for the population, in a lacivious disgusting feast.

The Serie Cavae Scutun, from Latin, "hollow shield'", is composed of 13 works, this is series came up from a critical and acidic observation of society's numbness in the face of the atrocities that many human beings are suffering. The solution is in the hands of society, which prefers to hide behind false shields, here allegorically represented by small umbrellas over their heads.
