Laser game LED lamp

In February 2023 I design a artwork , called Laser Game. Inspired by this design I made a new artwork named Laser Game LED lamp.

In this new design I made successful improvements.

My earlier experiences as a designer in The Netherlands, mostly in Amsterdam, at the end of the 1990’s, helped me with this new design.

During the making of the first artwork “Laser Game” I discovered the special effects when the bundles of nylon threads are lighted by LED lamps. This experience inspired me to make the second design using LED lamps.

The base of this design is a disk 50 cm diameter (like in the first design). The bundles of threads are placed on different heights, 4, 6 and 8 mm. Every bundle contains about 220 fluo fishing threads. The entire design contains about. 660 threads.

At the beginning of every bundle I placed 2 pointed LED lamps, of which the light shines parallel to the threads. In total I used 6 LED lamps.

The 12 volts lamps have been connected to the 230 volts net by means of an adapter.
