The picture represents loneliness. Meeting and interacting with other people is essential for emotional health and well-being. Loneliness is a big problem in modern society. Even more people have become lonely. During Corona many of us have eperienced first-hand how unbearable it is to be lonely.

There is a human being in the picture. She is lonely and cannot sleep. She longs for social contacts, for friends. She looks out the window and sees the overwhelmingly tall skyscrapers, all squeezed close to each other. And in every house there are lonely people who maybe look out of the window in the same way just as longingly. There are so many people in one place, but they cannot find each other and cannot become friends, and those who are friends are not allowed to have contact because of the pandemic.
