"RESTRAINED" is an oil dry brush piece on a 60 x 48 stretched linen canvas. This piece represents the vulnerability and frustration Katrina was feeling during the lockdown period(s) throughout the course of COVID-19. Furthermore, during this time a loved one of hers was struggling with an opioid addiction. As many other family members who may be in this position can relate, there can be many feelings of helpless and restraint. To get through this, she has expressed herself through art and created this piece.
