Artwork title : The Landscape of Old Qin

Centuries ago, the Old Qin walked out of the depths of the Western Qinling Mountains, and the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties arrived. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the State of Qin swept through the six states and dominated the Central Plains, earning the eternal name of the Qinling Mountains through the great cause of unification. For thousands of years, it has stood on the boundary between the north and south, witnessing the changes and development of the land of China.

The husband carried me in form, and worked me to make a living. The artist captured the intricate connections between regions and blood ties, and created a bronze round sculpture called "Shanshui Laoqin".

The work originates from the Terra Cotta Warriors of the First Qin Emperor, the general figurines. The artist depicts the precipitous Qinling Mountains and the perseverance and tenacity of the old Qin people. The rock walls are rugged and steep, smooth as a knife, and the mountain rises high into the clouds, swaying upwards. The general's gaze was profound, gazing ahead. The mountains, rocks, and valleys crisscrossed the paths, spreading out on his face, exuding a sense of majesty and vicissitudes.

Born and raised here. The old Qin lived in the mountains and passed down their lineage here, working and living, discussing poetry and prose. Over time, their bloodline intersected with the mountains, forming their indomitable character that embraces all rivers and stretches for thousands of years to this day.

"The Landscape of Old Qin" embodies the artist's sense of belonging to the land of Sanqin, and also expresses the idea of humanistic care - May the "spirit of the Qin people" be sustainable.
