Broken, raw and in dark greys forms the interpretation of "In a Roman Osteria" by Carl Bloch. Depicting the shadow-site that the original Oilpainter 1866 only indicated softly.

The interior is dark. A group of people give off an ugly shine, too bright in their surrounding darkness, brought into movement by the gaze of the onlooker. Shining and penetrating.

The walls are cracked, flies surround the food, the grips of the people on their cutlery is hard, screaming of insecurity.
