What geometries underlie the built and natural environments? What traces of the past do they include? 

 

I used my vision to create a new image surrounding the Oculus at the World Trade Center Hub, designed by Santiago Calatrava. I started with an abstract photograph of the Oculus based on fundamental geometries, which I have transformed into a new abstract image by overlapping forms, creating textures, and blurring layers. This work captures the multiple functions of the place, from transportation hub to contemplation space and from memorial to selfie spot and performance center, united by geometries that define the space.

 

Through my work, I intend to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of geometric abstraction and the power of architecture to shape our world.
