Statement In the dynamic realm of contemporary art, my work explores the intersection of tradition and disruption, offering a visual narrative that grapples with the challenges of our fast-paced, digitally-driven existence. Embracing the theme of the "aesthetics of interruption," my art delves into the complexities of our modern era, where constant interruptions have become the norm, challenging the very essence of how art provokes change in our perceptions. Inspired by traditional Persian art and poetry, my earlier works depicted Nature as paradisiacal gardens—a sanctuary for mystics and lovers. However, my current body of work responds to the contemporary discourse on interruption. In a world saturated with digital information and sociopolitical change, the question arises: How can art disrupt established norms when interruption itself is pervasive? My paintings reflect the contrasts in the contemporary artistic landscape. On one canvas, the rapid evolution of technology is embraced, pushing artistic boundaries and re-imagining reality. On another note, classic art elements stand in juxtaposition, engaging in a dialogue with the past to provide coherence amid the chaos of our time.
