This is the second piece from an untitled series inspired by the change of seasons in Northern New England; a colorful Autumn gives way to a bleak season before the snows of Winter come. 

Locally, we call it Stick Season due to the barren qualities of the landscape; it is my favorite season for the nakedness of the landscape. It allows me to connect with the empty qualities of life that make me appreciate the fullness of life even more.

There can be beauty in desolation.
