The landscape of my childhood is dissapearing. 

The landscapes of all of us seem to disappear and fade away, making their way to "progress" and over population, where discreet moments of connectivity to the sublime, to nature seem to be gone even though sought after daily.

In this painting, I wanted to bring my discreet moment with the heels and cows of my childhood, a sanctuary of deep black eyes, and a magnificent animal that realms these mountains and grassy meadows like no other.

In their silence they create peace, a moment that we all yearn to, to disconnect but to connect immensely to something which is simply alive
