Artwork title : Fiesta de los Orishas

60x120 cm The paiting represents the Orishas who are the guardians and interpreters universal of universal destiny in the Yoruba tradition from West Africa. This traditions was brought to Cuba by the slaves. The Orishas are venerated in Cuba with ritual, music, special foods and prayers. The author represents in this work, his culture and traditions as part of his AfroLatino community.
