Artwork title : Mt. Fuji in Spring

When I saw this view of Mt. Fuji, the imperfections in the way the clouds hung over the mountain caught my eye. To Japanese people, Mt. Fuji is always perfect, a symbol of our country and a source of energy. The imperfections I saw in this landscape somehow gave Mt. Fuji a kind atmosphere, so different from how it is usually understood and portrayed. Therefore, I wanted to show the gentle face of the mountain in this painting.
