Artwork title : Song of the Heart (Song of Life)

This artwork "Song of the Heart (Song of Life)" expresses the vivid celebration of the diversity of life, of the world, and the futuristic connection between humans and the nature in an artistic and spiritual level - with the timeless way of expression. I create artworks with the colourful way of expression to stimulate viewers' intuition. Often they embody the hybrid forms of humans, animals, plants and mythological beings. These works represent the harmonious vision in which the different living beings, including people with different identity, gender and sexuality live in harmony with each other in the universal circle of the nature, life and death. The bright colours and the organic in my image cosmos shapes represent the universal harmony between different living beings including humans from different identity, in harmony with nature itself.
 
The traditional backbone from Japanese/East Asian/South Asian Arts influences on my artworks. However, I expand it to the contemporary interpretation, with modern ways and techniques of expression that are surreal and free from the static traditional motives.
For example, in my artworks, different skin colours of the people are illustrated connected to one another with no hierarchy. Those colours sometimes turn into rainbow colours. It is also the symbol of diverse sexuality and gender identities. Sexuality, ethnic diversity, and other subject matters are not taboo-topics in my artworks, but they are celebrated as the great diversity. The figures on my works embody the affirmative images of the rich differences between us with joyful colours, organic mixed forms of different living beings flowering harmoniously in the botanical environment.
