Temporarily Sleeping presents a serene, sculptural landscape suspended between stillness and awakening. The work depicts a white, mountain-like form mirrored in soft blue resin - a floating fragment of land or an iceberg adrift in calm water. A single Celestite stone rests within the upper relief, glowing faintly like a heartbeat beneath ice. The smooth, glasslike surface amplifies the sense of quietness and isolation, inviting the viewer into a contemplative pause.

Interpretation:

The piece reflects on cycles of rest and renewal - on moments when life, thought, or emotion appear dormant yet remain alive beneath the surface. The use of natural stone symbolizes consciousness held within matter, suggesting that sleep is not absence, but preparation for transformation. The mirrored composition evokes balance and reflection, turning stillness into a meditative rhythm.
