Artwork title : Passion

Oil on plywood, 3 1/2 x 4 feet

This work explores my relationship with art as both a personal necessity and a source of identity. Depicted nude and towering over a table scattered with art supplies, the figure is shown from an aerial perspective, emphasizing both vulnerability and control. The nudity reflects honesty and exposure, stripping away external markers to focus on the raw connection between self and practice. The abundance of materials below suggests process, experimentation, and the constant presence of making. The piece speaks to the overwhelming yet empowering role art plays in my life. It is both something I stand above and something I am deeply immersed in.
