Artwork title : TRACES

How many lives does an object have? Its first life and the reason why it was designed for, but also it can have more lives, as many as we want to give it. Deconstruction can create a new thing, which previously had history, and through manipulation, gets another. Past - present - future: time. " Traces" is that: objectd and materials which have been transformed. Everyday objects: a piece of corrugatedcardboard, a metàl·lic lid of a glass jar, little pieces of a jam jar, a plàstic mesh; all of them everyday and ephemeral, that leave a trace of its use before throwing them away; but, if we gave them a new life? It cuold bé a múltiple life, depending on how we can intèrpret it: the red (acrylic paint and oil paint) that colours and also surrounds them can show us an individual despair (a broken feeling) or a col·lectives one (war); all over a white paper, scratched with anger, that can suggest the soul' s cry. All the aspects mentioned leave "traces".
