Artwork title : BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH

Paper, wood, metal...basic materials we are surrounded by, which we can use with a different function they were created. We talk again about deconstruction to create a new thing, which already had history and through manipulation can get another one. A piece of old wood, treated with olive oil and vinegar, piecesof paper painted with inks and acrylic paint to form a collage; a ball made of silk paper painted with copper spray; a metal rod with a piece of paper psinted with ink... A poetic approach to where we are or we can feel where we are: between heaven and earth. The blue colour of the sky we look at or the one of water (on the pieces of paper of collage); the earthy and brown colours of the collage and the wood. Also the robustesa of the wood and the fragilitat of the ball - earth (silk paper); the strong but flexible metal rod. The dualitat of elements. A song to beauty, but also to respect to the world, to the planet, where we inhabit; to the smallness and infinite, to what transcends us.
