Artwork title : Nothing, 40 x 30 cm, photogram
The work Nothing is part of the photogram series titled Whispers, created through a combination of digital and analog photography. In addition to the depicted portraits, an integral element of the series consists of words engraved onto the surface of the photographs. To create them, I used various tools such as knives, nails, and wires. Each word is carefully chosen and positioned to resonate with the image, forming a distinctive symbiosis between text and artistic vision.
In my practice, I treat words as a form of self-expression that enables me to convey what is sometimes difficult to express through image alone. These words may serve as a key to interpreting the photographs, opening new layers of meaning for the viewer and allowing for a more intimate engagement with emotions.
This subtle reference to the tradition of analog photography creates both contrast and complement to the hybrid digital-analog works, emphasizing the importance of both the creative process and the medium itself in artistic expression.
