Artwork title : Pierrot Lunaire

Over the centuries clowns have mapped and remapped the bright ideas and dumb mistakes of the human figure. Their appearance, behaviour and emotional makeup, are the picturing of our own human struggles, conflicts and ambivalences. They wear the perfect disguise of one who laughs on the outside and cries on the inside and are a reminder that the fantastic can happen, even in a world that can sometimes feel like a three-ring circus brimming with fools.

My artwork "Pierrot Lunaire" symbolises the modern artist...isolated, sensitive, and wearing a mask to navigate a broken world.
