A small robot is depicted in a gesture of Christian prayer, wearing a shirt decorated with already-consumed apples and little angels. The apples, no longer whole but eaten, indicate knowledge that has already been acquired and incorporated, no longer original nor reversible. These iconographic elements, themselves of an artificial nature, refer to cultural symbols produced, transmitted, and assimilated by human society. The work reflects on spirituality as a learned symbolic system, suggesting that artificial entities may inherit not only human forms and functions, but also ethical structures and representations of knowledge.
