The body is slowly lifted on top of the bricks, peeled back down layer by layer, slowly lifted again, and peeled back again layer by layer. Ten layers of bricks are repeatedly moved from side to side and up and down over the course of an hour. The long hours stretch into a Sisyphean never-ending, repetitive cycle, where the seemingly useless, ineffective and hopeless labour of 'brick- lifting' is a huge stone that cannot be escaped from life. We are condemned to walk the path of our destiny for a long time in a cycle of hardship and suffering.
