Artwork title : L'Intelligence Emprisonnée

Sculpture, h 35cm, l 30cm, p 30cm, Pièce unique, 2024

Covid has brought to light new and strange relationships across the world. Above all, we can now see that we were lied to, that the truth was distorted, and that our intelligence was disregarded. This intelligence—normally fueled by the sensory receptors located on our faces (eyes, ears, etc.)—was deceived and effectively imprisoned by false information.

Here, the brain—representing intelligence—is enclosed by a grid that stands for the face and our sensory receptors. Everyone is free to draw their own conclusions; as for the artist, he has certainly made up his mind!
