Through restless, uncontrolled gestures, Matthias Keller transforms physical impulses into marks on the canvas. Rather than correcting or concealing them, he allows each movement to shape the work’s rhythm and composition. The painting becomes a space where tension can be expressed and reworked, turning an involuntary gesture into a deliberate act of making. It does not present art as a cure, but as a personal means of attention, release, and self-understanding.
