Artwork title : Balancing Act

What has become of the world after two years of pandemic? How populations around the globe balance their human and economic losses due to Covid19? My image wants to comment on this state of  deep uncertainty and frailty societies deal with.  And what has become of these masks for now has only an answer: litter.  This now classic “anti-Covid item”  that has been the omnipresent antivirus tool and not so wanted companion to most people in the last two years hasn’t finished its task yet and left many, many traces of itself all over the world. After its protection task it’s becoming the number one trash item litterally-disseminated in the world.  This image comments not only the environmental weight of this item on the planet but of the precariousness of our not yet post- pandemic state.
