Artwork title : Mother Earth

The agony presented in this piece embodies Mother Earth’s suffering. The absence of hands represents the Earth’s inability to mend her condition. She fails to breathe as we eat away at her lungs, stomp on her body and rip her apart piece by piece. With every jab of pain we inflict upon her, we simultaneously penetrate the dagger deeper into ourselves. Without her, we will cease to exist.
