This free-flow painting is called this way for its bright and happy yet subdued colours mixed in a spontaneous way. It has two layers, the visual and the emotional. From the visual perspective, it represents the magic of Aurora Lights. These lights are very unique, powerful and bright, they shine through the dark skies. On an emotional level, it demonstrates colours that look faded in appearance, but still, bring us hope. The work’s diverse textures, forms, structures and shapes allow the viewer to create lots of different memories and stories associated with it. There are multiple contrasts seen on this piece of art, red and green colours, warm and cool tones, which are split with the line at the centre, this demonstrates contrasts of life, love, beauty and nature.
