“Anti-coronavirus” is an extension of my other sub-series “Liberation”, which sparks a desire to burn it all in blazing flames, is to give yourself a chance of introspection, to declutter and focus on becoming the best version of yourself.

 

The pandemic has made 2020 a year of significant challenges and changes. “Anti-coronavirus” is indeed inspired by the pandemic, and was selected into Beijing International Art Biennale “Fighting with Love” Anti-coronavirus Series. In the painting, a dagger is placed at the center, acting as the guardian to ward off coronavirus along with masks covering the virus. The surrounding feathers depict symbols of freedom, hope and spirituality, reminding us how important our psychological well-being is during the pandemic and giving people hope for the future.
