Gabriela Azar Rubagotti is a dominican architect and multidisciplinary creative currently based in Italy. 

This work titled 'Selah' (2021) 150x100cm - Represents the artist's fascination for natural elements, her Caribbean roots and personal experiences in an expressive manner. It is characterized by the importance of aesthetic, dynamic zones of color and the interaction between harsh and fluid strokes. 'Selah' expresses a sense of peace and beauty; "that same peace I experience while creating and those traces of beauty attached to the constant inspiration I take from memories, ideas, from what I see, my surroundings, forms and from abstract concepts of my ‘Caribe’”.
