Shoes take people to various places. Training shoes take people to gyms, heels and dress shoes take people to ceremonies, and more. However, in this photograph, two shoes are sitting idle in the cabinet. Taken during the pandemic, the image expresses the feeling of being lost. Everything familiar has become foreign. The blurred shoes explicitly portray the sense of reality fading away. With the feeling of being lost comes uneasiness, which is portrayed by the light streaks.
