Artwork title : Puzzle

I'm a freelance artist from Germany. Since my youth I have artistic inclinations and engaged in drawing, collages and photography. In early 2010 I discovered my love for the avant-garde art photography (inspired by Francesca Woodman and Man Ray). I always work alone and I using daylight as the only light source. The images are not digitally post-processed.

In my work I explore the fragility and absurdity of human existence. I put my own person at the center and uses the grotesque symbiosis of body, space, and object to play with identity. This work is from my series "Anti-Portrait". In this series I contradict the usual canon of a portrait and lift the basic rules to invert the normal and ordinary. The work „Puzzle“ thematizes the person condemned to silence, who tries to break through the mask that we humans all wear.
