Synopsis:

I WILL TAKE YOUR SHADOW is an experimental autobiography animation film. It is an intimate impression of a personal journey of the film’s director, Ayala, along the loosely historic and mostly imagined track of losses that tore apart her grandparents’ family in the late 1930s and ever since then.

The film offers a glimpse into a world where wakefulness and dreams are experienced a sequally realistic, and where a few scarce stories that have been told in the family are becoming a persistent reality.
