Artwork title : Skogsrå

 Inspired by the Scandinavian folklore tales that I grew up reading and hearing as a child, Skogsrå; a forest spirit, invites you into a secret world built upon legend.

The moody largely opaque jargon of fairies, elves and mystical creatures with light resting about them, emanating from them, or radiating only slightly outwards, is a source of hope and inaudible sound in a brooding landscape; a visual world I find myself strongly invited into through my textural explorations using photography and encaustic medium.
