I painted this for my sister who is studying in Boston. We are both snow lovers and I'm happy she could study abroad in prestigeous Boston University while I live and work in my family business to support her financially from Myanmar. While she's able to expereince snow from her accomodation, I paint this forest and snow from my warm studio. The evening sun reflection on the canvas with cool tones really complement each other and the added effects of droplets creates a kind of missing feeling that you could experience through a window.
