When I had the chance to arrange my own still life, I wanted to use objects that had emotional value and stories behind them. Which is the reason why, I chose to draw my old ballet dress and point shoes. I did ballet for ten years, and I wore these point shoes along with this dress during my last ballet recital. They represent the end of an era for me.
