Ocean. Collage on Wood panel, 48” x 36”

  The vastness of the waves, gentle splaishes, the ocean is both this and that. Like the ocean a heart holds great wrath but it is also capable of great compassion and tenderness. 
Paper is torn for uniqueness, as each wave is unique. Although all the pieces are different, the composition form a pattern. 
Each piece is individual not only in shape and size but in colour tones as well. 
The deep blue that is dominant is depth of the ocean and its mystery. 
The white background is the light reflected, of a peaceful and calm surface.
