Jurassic Spark, hand cut collage 24 x 18 cm.
I have used an upside down page of an ancient booklet in Urdu language. The contemporary man looks with curiosity and affection at a small dinosaur, representing his own spark of stone age. The man is actually holding in his hand that crucial connection with his ancestors, while he is sitting on a pyramid of upside down words, the meaning of which does not have importance anymore.
The collage is part of Momentum Theory, a series of 17 collages.
The series is intended almost as a stack of " Polaroids " of thoughts about time, space, game, courage, irony, declinations of love and war, and more extensively about human nature.
